Ramin Tayani, M.D. Dr. Tayani, is a board certified Ophthalmologist, fellowship trained orbital-facial plastic surgeon, specializing is ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and upper face. As one of the most highly trained vision and facial aesthetics specialists is Southern California. Dr. Tayani attended the University of California, Irvine, where he double majored in Biology and Psychology. He was heavily involved in leadership roles such as being the President of the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Premed Honor society. In 2000, Dr. Tayani opened his practice in San Clemente, which he based on traditional family values. He is currently on staff at Mission Memorial, South Coast Medical Center, Saddleback Memorial, UCI Medical Center, Hoag Medical Center and St. Jude Medical Center, and Chief of Ophthalmology at San Clemente Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Tayani believes that it is always in a patient’s best interest to see a specialist, particularly in instances which concern the eyes. Dr. Tayani always strives for surgical excellence, as he knows how sensitive and vital a patients eyes and upper face are to their self-image and personal well being. |

Peter J. Joson, M.DDr. Peter Joson is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist, fellowship-trained in glaucoma. His expertise in the diagnosis and management of general ophthalmic conditions and the many varieties of glaucoma result in optimal care. After spending his formative years in Anaheim, he attended Cornell University, double majoring in biology and economics. He then worked as a research associate in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the UC-Irvine School of Medicine. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Washington. Dr. Joson returned to New York to pursue a fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary with Dr. Robert Ritch, a pre-eminent leader in the field of glaucoma. Committed to research and teaching, Dr. Joson has conducted research at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute, and has presented and published scientific papers in both the basic and clinical science of glaucoma. |

Rebecca Ng, O.DDr. Rebecca Ng has been practicing in the Saddleback Valley area since 1975. She is an honors graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelors and Doctorate degrees. DR. Ng provides comprehensive vision care services for all family members and specializes in contact lens evaluations. She holds a therapeutic and glaucoma drug license and treats ocular infections, ocular allergies, dry eye problems associated with thyroid and autoimmune diseases. She also assists in the diagnosis and post operative care of cataracts. DR. Ng has participated in numerous clinical trials for contact lenses and their related solutions. DR. Ng is active in many professional and public service organizations. She has served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Inland Optometric Society, and as a previous member and past President of the DMV advisory board. She is currently a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, European Optometric Association, British Contact Lens Society, American Public Health Association and is currently a board member of the Orange County Optometric Society. DR. Ng is looking forward to welcoming all her previous patients that were covered under the vision insurances that she currently is not a provider for. Her patients have become life long friends and she is excited to see them all again.

Shireen Guide, M.D.Dr. Shireen Guide graduated Summa Cum Laude from the George Washington University. She graduated from Stanford medical school and completed a clinical research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine at Stanford University. Dr. Guide specialized in Dermatology at the University of Texas at Southwestern, a prestigious dermatology training program. Most recently, she has completed subspecialty training in Pediatric Dermatology at UCSD. She has been involved in research for many years and more recently has contributed to studies on topical chemoprevention for basal cell carcinoma. Currently, she maintains privileges at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and is actively involved in pediatric and adolescent dermatology. Over the years, Dr. Guide has made it her priority to give back to the community. She has conducted free melanoma and skin cancer screenings, recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology. She has volunteered as a translator for the Smithsonian, and as a camp counselor for children with skin diseases. Dr. Guide has authored numerous journal publications related to her research, as well as several chapters in prominent textbooks, including Fitzpatrick’s Dermatology in General Medicine 2003 (6th edition) and the Clinics of North America series. In addition, she has contributed to annual publications of the Dermatology Yearbook and continues to review articles for pediatric dermatology journals. She has presented at several conferences including the American Academy of Dermatology and San Diego’s 2011 Pediatric Dermatology for the Practitioner.
